ULI Advisory Panel report - Chester, UK

March 2011

ULI was invited by a consortium of public and private stakeholders to carry out a 5 day advisory panel in Chester with 8 international, senior ULI members in November 2010. Over 600 panels have been run by ULI since 1947, however this was the first Advisory panel run by ULI in Europe.

The expert panel went on site tours, met with local residents, business owners, members of the council, students and made a presentation of their findings at the Town hall.  The final report has now been published with the panel’s answers to the 5 questions asked of them by the stakeholders as to Chester’s future for residents, tourists and as a city moving forward.  The report outlines the panel’s findings and gives some suggestions and recommendations for future development in Chester from a neutral and objective point of view.
